About Turfify

Turfify is a free, independent directory of sports venues in Sri Lanka. It currently lists 33 venues across 15 cities, covering 5 sports.

The problem we're solving

Finding a court to play on in Sri Lanka is harder than it should be. Venues advertise on Instagram and Facebook, prices are buried in comment threads, phone numbers go stale, and half the time you find out a place has closed only after driving there. There has never been one reliable place to look.

Turfify is that place. Every listing carries the venue's address, opening hours, hourly rate, amenities and a phone number that works — checked by us, not scraped and forgotten.

How Turfify makes money — and how it doesn't

Turfify does not take bookings and does not take a commission. When you find a venue here, you call or WhatsApp them directly and pay them directly. There is no booking fee, no service charge, and no incentive for us to hide a cheaper venue from you.

Listing is free for venues. In future, venues will be able to pay for enhanced listings — more photos, priority placement in their city, and a dashboard showing how much contact Turfify sent them. Nothing about that will change what a player sees or pays.

How we keep listings accurate

Listings are gathered from public sources and from venue owners directly, then confirmed by phone before they go live. Venues marked Verified have been contacted by us and had their rates and hours confirmed. Anything unverified is shown as such.

Prices and hours still change. If something on Turfify is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it — usually the same day.

Who builds this

Turfify is built and run by The Atom, a product studio in Sri Lanka.
